Specialties

Chad Kruger began his career in 2010 with CTV News Edmonton after graduating from NAIT’s Radio and Television Arts program. He started as a video editor then traded in the mouse and keyboard for a camera and microphone to work as a videographer. His experience editing was an asset that made him ideal for stories in various locations. Noteworthy road trips include: the Oilers playoff run in Anaheim, the Eskimos Grey Cup win in Winnipeg, and the Fort McMurray wildfires.

It was Chad’s time in Fort McMurray, during the wildfires, that earned him a recommendation for a job with CTV National News. After 7 years in Edmonton he moved to Washington, DC to become a videographer & editor in the national bureau. There, he primarily focused on covering Capitol Hill and the Trump White House (yes, he has lots of crazy stories). Noteworthy road trips also include: the PyeongChang Olympics, Hurricane Florence, and the Pittsburgh synagogue shooting. After 2 years in Washington, DC he decided to move back to Canada, ending his career in broadcast news.

Home again in Edmonton, Chad began to pursue his dream of running his own video production company. He has quickly made his mark in the city working for clients such as the Oilers Entertainment Group, Alberta Art Installations, and the Alberta Make-a-Wish Foundation.
